Gramercy

Gramercy

\grə-ˈmər-sē\ interjection

- used to express gratitude or surprise

These socks feature a marvelously stretchy and easy-to-memorize lace motif. They work up quickly and use surprisingly little yarn. They’re one of those magical projects that look much more complicated than they are! They’d be a great introduction to fancy socks for newer knitters and a fun little diversion for veteran sock knitters.

These socks are top down with a heel flap, and the pattern is written in three sizes.

This pattern is intended as a bit of a thank you note to all the knitters who have supported me by reading my website, testing my socks, and buying and knitting my patterns. Knitting in general and designing in particular has been a wonderful addition to my life, and I appreciate your support more than I can say.  I wanted to give you something back, and a free pattern seemed like a good choice.

Since I released the pattern, I’ve gotten several requests to make a paid version available too.  It seems you guys really mean it when you say you want to support independent designers.  Who am I to argue?  I’ve put a paid version up on Ravelry.  It’s the exact same file.  The only difference is that if you buy it on Ravelry, it will show up in your library there.

The pattern costs $4.50.
