Wow, I can’t believe I’m the first one! But since I didn’t get to test these, and I really want to make them, I’ll play It was a hard choice, but I think Nantasket Beach has to be my current favorite colorway, although Ruby-Throated Hummer is a close second!

Koi is GORGEOUS! And so is your new sock pattern – just lovely.

These socks are just beautiful! If I don’t win, I’m definitely buying the pattern. I absolutely love the Neptune’s Grotto colorway on Barking Dog Yarns website. I’m going back there on payday. LOL

I love all your patterns, and have many of them. This one is beautiful! I have to say I like the “My Best Faded Shirt” colorway the best.

Snapdragon is my favorite of Barking Dog sock yarns. Love the colors! And I’ve been waiting for the release of this pattern since it came up for testing. Just beautiful.

I think Sky Pirate might be my favorite. Half because of the colors and half because of the name. Great pattern, btw, I can’t wait to knit it up.

Oh my gosh, I love your sense of humor! Thank you for introducing me to the Barking Dog sock yarns…I’ve used up my yarn allowance for this month, but there’s always next month! I fell instantly in love with the Old Barn at Dusk colorway…they would make the most beautiful socks! If I win, I’m going to make MYSELF a pair of socks. I’ve made plenty of socks, but sadly, haven’t kept a single pair for myself.

I love Nantasket Beach — it reminds me of sea glass and wearing sweaters at the beach. And your socks would look beautiful in this color.

Those are socks that definately make me want to learn to knit socks. I’ve never made it past the heels yet, but I will, I will, I will. Guess it’s timeto take a class.

The yarn colorways are all gorgeous, but I’d have to pick Snapdragon because it reminds me of teaching my small grandsons how to make them “talk”. They now live 1/2 way across the country since my daughter died, but I’ll always plant snapdragons to remind me of them.

Ruby-Throated Hummer, but Koi runs a close second. I think Ruby-Throated would be a good match for this sock.

I guess I’ll hold off buying this pattern for a few more days …

I lied. My favourite might actually be My Best Faded Shirt.

Some very pretty colorways making it very hard to pick. The skein that most spoke to me was Oaklahoma Rose, all that paleness is such a contrast to our current temperatures

It’s hard to choose among Suzan’s wonderful colors, but I would like Nantasket Beach, since I grew up about 20 miles from there.

Well then, I choose quiet ember as my favorite. I love the warmth of the reds and oranges mixed with the teals and blues. I always gravitate towards cooler colors, so I’m always excited to find something I can fall in love with that has some warmer colors as well. I think it’s the perfect yarn for a sumptuous pair of fall socks!

I wanted to test knit these as well, they are so cool! I went to Susan’s site and while I loved Dawn’s early light I have so much blue already! Charwoman in pink definitely jumped out at my *feminine* side! ~smile~

My favorite colorways involve a lot of blues and/or purples, lately, so right now I’m in love with Dawn’s Early Light. I’d buy it if I could afford it!

I really love the Briarwood colourway from Suzan. All of her colours are so lovely it’s hard to choose just one. I can definitely see myself buying alot of her yarns!

I had a very difficult time choosing a favorite color at Barking Dog Yarns, and it ultimately came down to a coin toss between My Best Faded Shirt and Superstition.

My best faded shirt wins, the toss, but superstition is equally gorgeous and will probably sneak into my stash anyhow.

It’s as hard to pick a favorite color of Suzan’s yarn just as it is hard to pick a favorite pattern of yours. I just ordered my first order of Suzan’s yarn last week and it isn’t here yet, I’m a canadian you know and with customs I’m not expecting for at least another 2 weeks.

I saw your pattern a couple of days ago and fell in love with it; saw Barking Dog’s yarn about a day later and fell in love with the yarn. Who knew the 2 could go so beautifully together!! All I can say is ‘wow’!

Lovely pattern. I like the asymmetry of the design. BDY has so many lovely colors it makes it hard to choose a favorite. If I must I would pick Snapdragon with Nantasket Beach a close second.

Can they ALL be my favorite? I love every single colorway. I think the one that my fingers itch to knit with the most at this moment is Lost Shaker of Salt. For some reason I really want socks in that intense green/yellow of a frozen margarita. I guess if I don’t win, I’ll have to have a real margarita as a consolation prize. Either way–YUMMY.

Love the gorgeous ruby throated hummer! I’ve almost all your designs and they are impossibly lovely. Combination of my favorite yarn and design – what more could I ask for?

I have a hard time deciding between Suzan’s Nantasket Beach and her Tuscan Vineyard – I love them both (well, really I love all her yarns!) But since I have to pick one, I guess it has got to be Nantasket Beach. Or maybe Tuscan Vineyard. Nono, I pick Nantasket Beach. Yes. Ok.

And Hunter, I love your patterns, too. I have Crenellation still on the needles from the December Sockdown. Just have 1/2 a sock to go. Hope to finish it in August. Love the pattern, but had a few gauge problems early on and so didn’t finish in time.

i’ll have to go with Pine Rain being my favourite. it looks so calm and nice. congrats on the wonderful pattern too. it’s a great use of a garter stitch expanse.

Hunter! I can’t believe you and Suzan expect us to pick ONE color! But since you do. . .My Best Faded Shirt is the prettiest one that I don’t have a similar colorway in my stash. In the event of outages (wink wink), I’d be equally thrilled with Old Barn at Dusk OR Lost Shaker of Salt.
Side note-Hunter, I really really hope you get a designer-of-the-month nod from the SKAers. You have too many patterns I want to knit, and I have not nearly enough time for that much non-challenge knitting!
