I luurrrrve Toronto and have gone there many times (Boy and I actually got married there). Alas, it was 2 hours farther away, and it would not have still been Thanksgiving when we got there! Windsor was the closest Canadian city of enough size to have open restaurants. I am a big fan of both Romni Wools and Lettuce Knit, and will totally be back to Toronto soon.

Love your story! And though Windsor isn't my favourite place in this country, at least it was able to provide you with the requisite pizza and beer. Next time, plan ahead and hit Toronto for the weekend. Lots of yarn stores!!! ;-)

Great tradition! We made lasagna this year. A lot less work and the kitchen was clean a few minutes after dinner.
